stupid livejournal

can't get on on it right now. it's down for some stupid schedule maintenance. hello? don't they know I need to get tonight's binge off of my chest? I was feeling pretty good, even tried on some XS and S stuff at Bebe. Shoulda stopped at the two that fit, because the 3 things that wouldn't zip or showed fat made me ill. I ate 200 more then I wanted in just stupid little snacks, bites here and there. I couldn't decide if I should just eat 200 MORE so I would have a big day. I'm so confused with this calorie cycling thing and my metabolism. hopefully my metabolism isn't totally screwed yet and having two days only a hundred calories off won't harm me. tomorrow needs to be uber low or uber high. going to try my hardest and make it low. thinking jello, cucumber, zucchini, blueberries. raspberries, egg white and a laughing cow. and maybe a miso soup thrown in there for good measure. that's about 3 or 400 I think.

the stuff I ate was so stupid too. grrrrrrr. well tomorrow is another day and under a 1000 is still really good in the "real" world....g'night

*Calorie cycling provides same amount of calories per week, but 'tricks' your body by constantly changing daily calories. This helps to prevent or break plateaus. Guideline only.

"Negative" Calorie Foods

So there are foods out there that are supposedly "negative" as in you burn more calories eating them then they are actually worth. Some people say it's bullshi*t but hey...Snopes says it it's true so I believe it...at least the celery! http://www.snopes.com/food/ingredient/celery.asp

Vegetables
asparagus, beet, broccoli. green cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chile peppers (hot),cucumber, dandelion, endive, garlic, green beans, lamb's lettuce, lettuce, onion, papaya, radishes, spinach, turnip, zucchini

Fruits

apples, clementines, cranberries, grapefruit, lemon, mango, orange, pineapple raspberries, strawberries, tangerines

2468

I thought staying around 1,000 a day was good. Well after calculating my BMI and BMR, I need to keep it lower. And after reading up it seems like most people who are trying to be skinny don't eat much at all. In fact it's all about the 2-4-6-8 diet where you eat 200 calories the first day and so on. At first I thought it was ludicrous but it's all about creative thinking!

There are a ton of super low cal foods. You can actually eat a ton esp. on an 800 calorie day. I really wouldn't recommend restricting long term though, it's truly not healthy. I guess I'm being a hypocrite because it's unhealthy to go under 1200 calories a day and here I am trying to stay under 800. Oh well like my journal says...I'm desperate to be skinny.

PLAN: You eat 200 calories on day 1, 400 calories on day 2, 600 calories on day 3, 800 calories on day 4 then on day 5 you start again with 200 calories. Some people like to change it up a bit...as long as you are shocking your body from the day before it will still work. This Diet keeps you from plateauing on your weight loss because it keeps your metabolism working. Your metabolism rate bases itself off of what you ate the day BEFORE, not what you are eating today or what you are going to eat tomorrow. Therefore when you drop from 800 calories on day 4 to 200 calories on day 5 you burn up 600 calories (the difference between days 4 and 5) more than you are eating.

Does that make sense? Since I've been used to eating so much I'm starting a bit higher and will work my way down to 200 and try it.

Welcome
